Registration Open for AudioMasters Benefit Golf Tournament, May 15/16

Registration is now open for the DiGiCo AudioMasters Live and API AudioMasters Benefit Golf Tournament. The two-day tournament is a must-attend event for the professional audio community, bringing together players and sponsors from across the country for two days of friendly competition and networking opportunities on the Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Nashville. Proceeds of the event are the primary funding source for the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund (NERF), created by the AES Nashville Section to provide a hand-up to area audio pros in times of crisis.

The DiGiCo AudioMasters Live is focused on Nashville's live sound professionals, with the famed console brand returning as title sponsor since 2019 to deliver hospitality to players on Thursday, May 15. "It's great to be involved at the AudioMasters event supporting NERF," says DiGiCo managing director Austin Freshwater. "It's a gathering of like-minded, helpful people, looking to make a difference. Make sure you join us for a day of fun as we continue to strengthen our community through generosity and collaboration."

AudioMasters sponsor and recording console maker API has claimed the title sponsorship for the studio-dominated day of play, now the API AudioMasters, to be held on Friday, May 16. "API is thrilled to be the Day 2 sponsor of the AES Nashville Section's AudioMasters Golf Tournament this year," says API owner Larry Droppa. "We wholeheartedly support the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund and its mission to provide assistance to the audio engineering community. It's been a pleasure to take part in the NERF event every year since 2008, where API has built a reputation for serving up hospitality and a gourmet culinary offering at Hole 16."

From the shotgun start to the 19th Hole awards reception dinner, the event provides a relaxed yet engaging environment for networking with pro audio brand sponsors, production companies, studios, service providers, engineers, producers, musicians, and students from all facets of the industry. Sponsors contribute to the fun at each hole around the course, offering contests, giveaways, plentiful food and beverage offerings, and a chance to meet face-to-face with some of the top names in audio. "The Nashville Engineer Relief Fund was founded to support our audio community when they need it most, and the AudioMasters Tournament continues to be the driving force behind our fundraising efforts," states Jim Kaiser, NERF board chair. "Each year, our sponsors bring something special to the event, creating an experience that's as fun as it is meaningful. This tournament is more than just a golf outing -- it's a chance for our industry to come together and give back."

Additional sponsors for this year's tournaments include: Audio-Technica, Audiomovers, Autra, Blackbird Studios, Black River Entertainment, Clair Global, Clyne Media, Corky's Ribs & BBQ Brentwood, Covered Bridge Recording, CTS AVL, David Angress, Design Technik, Direct Out, DPA, Ergolab Stealth, Focusrite Group (Adam Audio, Focusrite, Martin Audio), Genelec, L-Acoustics, Nashville Recording Supply, RCF, the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing, the Recording Studio Insurance Program, Russ Berger Design Group (RBDG), Solotech, Spectrum Sound, Solid State Logic (SSL), Teegarden Audio, TransAudio Group, Wave Distro, Vision2 Marketing, VEVA Sound and Welcome to 1979 Studios.
