PixelFLEX Introduces New FLEXCurve LED Video Screen

PixelFLEX's FLEXCurve video screen

PixelFLEX, a provider of flexible and lightweight LED video screens, is taking LED screens to another price and performance level with the introduction of FLEXCurve, available in 8mm, 9mm, and 12mm.

FLEXCurve allows for simplified set up and a unique design while holding to the same standards as the company's existing LED video curtain panels, used by notable musicians like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Thompson Square.

Featuring a compact, strong, and modular design, made with heavy-duty aluminum and with the added benefit of weighing under 40lb, FLEXCurve's screen can be adjusted from -10 to 10 degree curve, allowing both convex and concave curves. Additionally, PixelFLEX's newest LED video screen has a rig and click installation system, making for a seamless, fluid connection between panels. Strategic handle placements allow for an easy set up by a single person, eliminating the need for multiple hands to prep before and during a show.

As with PixelFLEX's existing line of LED video screens, FLEXCurve is simple to operate and set up -- videos and images can be sent to the screen using any computer with a DVI-D connection. In addition, the panels can be stored in a single road case to simplify shipping logistics while minimizing transportation costs. These panels ride four to a case and can be stored at any angle within the case.

"Video content is an essential part of live performances," said Jeremy Byrd, PixelFLEX's founder and president. "Today, delivering high quality video content is critical to maximizing the audience's experience. With the introduction of FLEXCurve, we're changing the conversation about video screens by providing another high-quality product but tweaking it to simplify and satisfy."

Designed with the touring client in mind, but ideal for permanent installations as well, the slim and sleek cabinet design has fewer cables, reducing failure rate and increasing reliability. FLEXCurve includes a preview mode, permitting RGB preview testing without the need to connect to an external data source. The system allows for front and rear accessibility, enabling single module replacement and improving serviceability, while a hinged backplate provides easy access to the screen's back panel.

FLEXCurve joins PixelFLEX's existing line of LED video screen offerings, which range from 6mm to 100mm.
