Epson PowerLite Projectors Engage Audiences at TED2014: "The Next Chapter"

Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide, has partnered with TED, the nonprofit dedicated to Ideas Worth Spreading, to provide PowerLite Pro Z8455WU WUXGA 3LCD installation projectors to be used on-site during the week-long conference. TED2014 marks TED's 30th anniversary and the theme for TED2014, "The Next Chapter" will highlight the most significant developments of the last 30 years.

Formerly held in Long Beach, California, TED2014 will be held in Vancouver, Canada, to celebrate its 30th anniversary. By putting talks from the conference online, TED gives a global audience on-demand access to the world's most inspiring ideas. TED Talks have been viewed nearly two billion times.

Utilized in special break-out spaces where attendees can watch the presentation on the main stage, the Epson PowerLite Pro Z8455WU projectors offer several features that meet the advanced projection and video streaming capabilities required by TED to provide the ultimate viewing experience including 7,000 lumens of color brightness and 7,000 lumens white brightness, two HDMI inputs and an HD-SDI input for long-distance high-definition broadcasts for high-grade video processing, an innovative liquid cooling system, and a dual-lamp design that further enhances image quality, performance, and reliability.
