Barbizon Lighting Announces Bill Stonehouse as Barbizon Lighting New York Systems Manager
The Barbizon Lighting Company welcomes Bill Stonehouse as the new systems group manager for the New York offices.
Stonehouse has depth and experience in both lighting design for live events and project management. He has designed lights for International and US National touring productions, Regional Theatre and Opera, Off-Broadway, festivals, and corporate and special events. In addition to his design work, he worked as a project manager for Bentley Meeker Lightng & Staging where he helped coordinate and manage the lighting, audio, video, and rigging for hundreds of special events -- from small private parties to major network upfronts and fashion shows.
Most recently, he was a lighting designer and field specialist for Schwinghammer Lighting, designing and coordinating installation logistics for architecture, high end retail, residential, and hospitality spaces.
"Bill brings to Barbizon a great perspective and insight on the whole systems process. He understands projects from the lens of designers, contractors, and end users," says Barbizon's national systems director Brian Dunn.
Stonehouse has jumped in with both feet and is collaborating with an already very busy team.
"I'm very excited to join the fantastic Systems team in New York. The industry is experiencing tremendous growth right now and I'm fortunate to be working in such an exciting field. I'm looking forward to the challenge and thrill of working with such a talented and passionate team at Barbizon."
