Lectrosonics Announces Major Updates to Key Products at NAB 2026

In addition to several new products to be announced at next month's NAB show, Lectrosonics has announced major performance-enhancing updates to some of its D-Squared digital transmitters and receivers.

The newest enhancement to the award-winning DSSM waterproof sub-miniature transmitter offers significant power optimizations that results in over 10% more battery life, giving the unit a maximum battery life of over seven hours. Already celebrated in both film sound and theater applications for its compact size, full IP57 waterproofing, and impeccable audio performance, this new revision provides even more peace of mind for use in critical applications.

Lectrosonics DSR two-channel and DSR4 four-channel digital slot receivers also have significant performance enhancements. Both units now have revised internal circuitry and modifications to the cases that further improve the sensitivity and self-noise performance of the receivers -- making them well-suited for any critical broadcast or film sound applications. These enhancements offer the benefits of fully digital setups for those using Digital Hybrid transmitters thanks to the flexibility of the receivers to operate in multiple modes, the company says.
