myMix Install to Debut at NAMM

My

Debuting at NAMM is the newest component of the myMix family: myMix Install. The permanent installation version of this decentralized networked audio mixing and monitoring device offers a flexible, efficient, and cost effective way to transport HD audio wherever audio is needed in a building. Using a 24-bit/48kHz, low latency IP protocol, myMix Install meets the demands of pro-audio which makes myMix Install perfect for room combining, listening/ intercom systems, overflow rooms in houses of worship, and many other applications. The name-based auto-discovery of all devices and audio channels was specifically designed to be easily navigable. Just like the portable version, the company says the patented user-interface is intuitive to operate so non-technical personnel can operate the system as well, which translates into potential time and cost savings.

Each myMix has two mic/line inputs with switchable phantom power and a stereo mic output as balanced line levels. This allows signals to come in and out of the audio network on any device, wherever it is needed in the building. Stereo mixes can be sent back to the network and used from any other myMix device just like any stereo signal.

myMix Install can be desk or in-wall mounted (with optional in-wall box). The decentralized system architecture allows the system to be expanded by simply adding units to the network, thus providing hundreds of audio channels if required. Central managing of more complex systems is easily done when combined with myMix Control. This web-based browser remote control allows entire myMix systems to be configured, edited, and locked by technicians while still allowing for basic functionality by other personnel.
