IALD Names Patricia Glasow as a Fellow

Patricia Glasow, Auerbach Glasow

Auerbach Glasow announces that Patty Glasow has been named a Fellow of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). The organization was founded in 1969 and "strives to set the global standard for lighting design excellence by promoting the advancement and recognition of professional lighting designers."

Glasow has been an active member and supporter of the IALD for more than thirty years. She is a leader in the industry with numerous significant projects around the world, an advocate for the profession and a frequent presenter at industry events. With a passion for cultivating the talent of the next generation of designers, she has served as trustee of the Robert Bruce Thompson Annual Student Light Fixture Design Competition for the past 18 years.

"Patty has an exemplary career that is demonstrated in her extensive portfolio of work and influence in the lighting profession," said founder of the firm, Len Auerbach. "She has mentored countless young lighting designers that are now leaders in the field. It's an honor to have her direct the Auerbach Glasow lighting studio."
