Aviom introduces the D800-Dante A-Net Distributor, a product designed in collaboration with Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, at InfoComm 2013, June 12 - 14, in Orlando, Florida. Avion is exhibiting in booth 523 and Yamaha Commercial Audio systems is exhibiting in booth 529 at InfoComm. The new D800-Dante A-Net Distributor offers Dante connectivity for seamless integration of Aviom personal mixing systems with Yamaha CL series consoles and Rio series I/O racks.

With a D800-Dante A-Net Distributor connected to the Dante network, up to eight Aviom personal mixers can be connected in parallel in an Aviom personal mixing system, eliminating the need for any A-Net cards in the Yamaha console. The D800-Dante distributes power and up to 64 channels of audio to each A360 personal mixer in the system and is also compatible with Aviom's A-16II personal mixers.

"It is great to collaborate with Aviom again on the D800-Dante A-Net for use with our new CL line of digital consoles," states Laurence Italia, vice president/general manager, Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. "An innovator of personal monitor mixers, we are excited by the possibilities the new Aviom D800 will provide our customers who are experiencing the power of the Dante network in our consoles."

The new distributor also introduces two new features to personal mixing systems using A360 personal mixers. The new Network Mix Back allows the digital stereo mix from each A360 personal mixer connected to the D800 to be sent to an AN-16/o v.4 output module for use with wireless transmitters. With Network Mix Back, wireless in-ears can easily be set up off stage and cabling for the personal mixers on stage is simplified. In addition, the D800-Dante serves as a communications hub for iOS devices connected via an Ethernet Wi-Fi router. iOS support for the A360 is scheduled for release in 2014.

Aviom president and CEO, Carl Bader, says, "Direct connection of an Aviom personal mixing system to Yamaha's CL Series with the D800-Dante allows users to work seamlessly. The collaboration between Yamaha and Aviom has been simplifying Aviom system setup for years, and the D800-Dante offers real advances for both Aviom and Yamaha users."
