Avid Presents "Meet the Avid S3L" Webinar on August 28

Robert Scovill

Avid and veteran sound engineer Robert Scovill will host a free, live sound webinar, "Meet the Avid S3L." This webinar will focus on the new Avid S3L system, which features an all-new networked architecture. The company says Avid S3L provides the performance, sound quality, and features that countless live sound professionals have come to rely on in a system architecture that's built for the future. Participants will learn how the modular S3L system solves the challenges of live sound mixing, and get an in-depth walkthrough of its innovative high-performance HDX-powered processing engine, new VENUE software features, flexible AAX DSP plug-ins, scalable remote I/O, compact EUCON-enabled control surface, and Pro Tools software integration for live sound mixing and recording.

Scovill is an experienced sound engineer with more than 3,000 live show mixing credits, including tours with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Rush, Prince, and Def Leppard. He offers an insider's perspective of the new S3L live sound system. Scovill will be joined for the live Q&A portion of the webinar by Sheldon Radford, Avid senior principal product manager, live systems and consoles, to answer participant's questions.

The webinar will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at 10am PT / 1pm ET.

Register online for the "Meet the Avid S3L" webinar at avid.com/S3Lwebinar.
