ADJ Expands PAR Z Series

ADJ's PAR Z Series

ADJ's PAR Z Series is said to fuse the timeless look of traditional PAR cans with the advantages of COB. LED technology. The series now welcomes four new models featuring, the company says, more powerful LED engines, improved optical clarity, and integrated Aria X2 wireless connectivity. The units are designed for a wide array of applications, including concerts, theatrical productions, and live events.

The PAR Z300 3K features a 300W warm white (3,000K) chip-on-board LED engine that delivers an output of up to 8,878 lux with a CRI of 97. Alternatively, the PAR Z300 6K utilizes a 300W cool white (6,000K) COB LED engine, offering an output of up to 13,980 lux with a CRI of 95. Both fixtures integrate a manual zoom function, allowing the beam angle to be adjusted between nine, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 degrees.

For applications that require colored output, the PAR Z300 RGBA offers a quad-color COB LED engine that combines red, green, blue, and amber LED chips. These can be independently dimmed to create a wide spectrum of output colors, including white light with a color temperature variable between 2,300K and 9,900K. Delivering an output of up to 5,230 lux with a CRI above 90, this fixture offers the same manual zoom options as the white light models.

Offering an integrated rechargeable battery, the PAR Z150 RGBA Plus is designed for applications where running power cables isn't possible. It features a 150W quad-color COB LED engine capable of outputting up to 1,360 lux with a CRI greater than 90. Its internal lithium-ion battery allows five hours of continuous operation at full output and up to 20 hours in reduced power mode. This model offers selectable zoom options of seven, 11.5, 16, 20.5, or 25 degrees.

All four models are equipped with an Aria X2 transceiver, enabling both wireless DMX control and remote device management via a smartphone app. In addition, each fixture features five-pin DMX input and output sockets, as well as locking power input/output sockets, allowing multiple units to be daisy-chained from a single power source. Each unit is also supplied with a removable frame, which can be used to hold a color gel or diffusion filter.

"With these new additions to the PAR Z Series, we're giving lighting designers even more tools to unleash their creativity," comments ADJ USA's director of sales, Alfred Gonzales. "By combining the classic PAR can form factor with modern LED power, battery operation, wireless control, and high CRI output, we're providing lighting professionals with reliable, flexible solutions that meet the evolving demands of today's productions."

The fixtures are available now through authorized ADJ dealers and distributors in the US.
