James Thomas Engineering, PixelRange Report Successful PLASA

PixelRange gear on display at the AC Lighting booth at the PLASA Show

James Thomas Engineering and PixelRange have reported a successful exhibition at PLASA 2011. The stand featured the latest truss products from James Thomas, including the pre-rigged, time-saving Lo-Pro Truss and a media player presentation of the space- and cost-saving X-Truss, alongside the latest intelligent lighting fixtures from PixelRange -- the PixelSmart and SmarLine4. From the non-intelligent lighting range, the QLite was debuted alongside its recently-launched and more powerful cousin, the QPar.

Andy Walters, sales manager, commented, "The stand was busy for the four days and we've had confirmed sales and product demonstrations booked in all our territories. The X-Truss presentation generated a great deal of interest and discussion."

PixelRange participated in the STLD Luminaire shootout, which aimed to discover whether the latest LED fixtures were a match, or possibly even better than, the usual fixtures used in TV.

The new range of products was also showcased on the stand of master European distributor, AC-ET. In the SmartRange products, each LED of the CREE MCE Quad LED RGBW configurations - as well as the CREE XPG warm white LEDs of the PixelSmart - is individually addressable. As a result, each color of each LED can be controlled in any combination at a given time. With no limitations, arrays of layering can be created via media server or lighting desk.
