Charlie Davidson Joins The Tiffen Company

The Tiffen Company, a manufacturer and distributor of award-winning accessories for the still imaging, video, motion picture, and broadcast markets, has named Charlie Davidson to the position of vice president, strategy and market development. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for defining and driving global business strategies that expand Tiffen's market share and leadership for all product lines. "As Tiffen expands its consumer and professional product, it is important that we align our management team to support our growth. Charlie possesses the key combination of technical expertise and a successful track record of business leadership and innovation. A 30-plus year veteran of the camera and lighting industry, Davidson joins Tiffen from ARRI where he held the position of chief operating officer. "I'm excited to join the Tiffen Company and help each of its great brands plan for future growth," said Davidson who will report to Steve Tiffen. An active volunteer, Davidson also serves as the director of the Congregation Ansche Chesed Men's Shelter and on the Production Equipment Rental Group Council of PLASA, an entertainment services and technology trade organization.
