High End Systems QUAD Now Shipping

High End Systems' QUAD automated luminaire

Introduced at the 2016 LDI trade show, High End Systems' new QUAD automated luminaire turned heads with its optical quality, output, and unique performance qualities. The company announces that the first QUAD shipments have shipped from the HES warehouse in January.

"A Richard Belliveau Concept" and part of HES' FX Series along with UNO, SHAPESHIFTER, and HEX, the QUAD features four RGBW LEDs with independent X and Y module control (X= -15/+15 degrees, Y= -2/+15 degrees) and four high efficiency TIR lenses, individual 3.5- to 40-degree zoom, and a high powered indigo backlight system. With its 540-degree pan by 265-degree tilt, the QUAD offers unprecedented movement capabilities, resulting in a fixture capable of producing stunning new visuals as well as classic ACL animated searchlight patterns. Other features include modular construction, electronic cooling system control, and 100 macros to facilitate programming and operation.

High End Systems general manager Jeff Pelzl commented, "We're very excited to have the first production QUADs delivered to our customers and lighting designers. We've worked hard over the last few years to create two distinct lines of LED automated luminaires. With our SolaRange family, lighting designers have the high-powered workhorses their rig demands, and our FX fixtures are raising the performance bar for creativity with lighting effects."
