LynTec's RPCM Recognized with LDI 2013 Award

LynTec president Mark Bishop, Dan Nguyen, design engineer, and Alan Tschirner, VP/GM with the RPCM LDI 2013 Award for Best Debuting Product of the Year.

LynTec, a manufacturer of customized electrical power control for professional audio, video, and lighting systems, announces that the company's Remote Power Control Mobile (RPCM) mobile power distro panel was honored with an LDI 2013 Award for Best Debuting Product of the Year. The solution was selected for its innovative new technology by a panel of industry experts working in conjunction with the editors of Live Design. The award was presented onsite at the LDI 2013 show in Las Vegas on November 23.

"We are elated to receive such a prestigious industry award," said Mark Bishop, president of LynTec. "By creating the market's first intelligent mobile power distribution solution, our RPCM gives customers the powerful features of our RPC panels in a fully portable product. There is nothing like it on the market, and we are very pleased to be recognized for this achievement by our peers."

LynTec's RPCM is the industry's first intelligent power distribution panel to bring three new features to the mobile power distribution market. First, the RPCM uses switch-grade motorized circuit breakers to provide remotely managed electrical protection and on/off control within a single enclosure. Second, the unit offers current monitoring at the branch circuit level -- enabling real-time current draw on a branch breaker, phase, or panel basis in addition to notification alarms that alert users of electrical panel anomalies via text or email. Third, the RPCM's built-in web server enables users to monitor and control distribution with ease, directly on the network, from a web interface on any browser-enabled smart device. RPCM also interfaces with most third-party control systems using IP, DMX, and sACN protocols.

Ideal for temporary live events in settings including houses of worship, stadiums, and theaters, the RPCM also provides direct on/off control for LED lighting and takes loads out of standby mode by directly shutting down circuits -- reducing energy and system maintenance costs, and facilitating more sustainable setups within a portable, road case design.
