Altman Welcomes Wayne Linderman as Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Wayne Linderman

Altman Lighting Inc. announces Wayne Linderman as our eastern regional sales manager. With over 35 years in the industry, Linderman brings a wealth of experience in lighting design, FOH operations, sales, and management. He has held positions with Barbizon (sales), Martin Professional (project sales manager), 4 Wall Entertainment (regional account manager), Murphy Lighting Systems (senior account executive), and Stage Equipment and Lighting (senior account executive). Linderman is also the CEO and principal lighting designer of Arrow Entertainment Industrial Light Shows.

Wayne Linderman attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia where he received an Associate of Arts degree in Theatre, Light Design. While at George Mason, Linderman was also actively involved in Theater of the First Amendment and GMU Players where he served as their Master Electrician. Linderman's crowning achievement at university was the publication and production of Somebody: A Modern Rock Musical, based on music & lyrics of Martin L. Gore of Depeche Mode fame. The debut production opened on December 5, 1996 in the Black Box Theatre at George Mason University.

Bill Groener, COO of Altman Lighting had this to say about the hiring of Linderman: "I am very pleased that Wayne has joined the Altman Lighting team. He and I have previously worked together and I know that specifiers, designers, reps, dealers and end-users will all appreciate his extremely high level of customer service and support gained through many years of entertainment industry experience."

Linderman is equally pleased with his move to Altman Lighting. "I am proud to join Mr. Groener and the entire team on this adventure to reintroduce Altman as one of the top names in theatrical lighting to our loyal customers and the industry as a whole. Yes, the pandemic and subsequent years have presented us with challenges, but we've pushed through that and are now on the precipice of emerging from it. The nostalgic part of me looks back on Altman with the fondness of an eager novice focusing their first 6X9. The pragmatic me looks forward to Altman's reinvigorated future as we introduce new generations to brighter, bolder lighting fixtures for decades to come."
