Stage|Set|Scenery Night -- Where the Industry Networks and CelebratesVisitors to the international trade show and conference for theatre, film, and event technology are invited to celebrate a special mid-summer fest in Berlin. On June 21, 2017, the day of the summer solstice, industry members will be able to meet and talk business in a relaxed atmosphere. Some 1,000 trade visitors from around the world are expected to attend. As of 6:30pm, visitors will be treated to a barbecue buffet and cold drinks in the Summer Garden and Palais am Funkturm. The singer Katharina Grischkowski and band will be inviting guests to dance. From June 20 - 22, 2017 the Stage|Set|Scenery international trade show and conference will be taking place for the second time. The event is co-organized by Messe Berlin and Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft (DTHG). Stage|Set|Scenery gathers exhibitors and trade visitors from every sector required for a successful production: they include stage equipment, drive and control systems, architecture and planning, lighting, acoustics, sound, video and media technology, studio technology, events, museum and event technology, decoration and furnishings, make-up, costumes, and safety systems. Altogether, exhibitors from 21 countries and several thousand trade visitors are expected to attend the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Tickets to the Stage|Set|Scenery Night cost 42 euros (ticket office: 45 euros) and are available online. Reduced rates are available for DTHG members who can purchase their ticket from the members' section on the DTHG website at www.dthg.de. A password is required.
