SHS Global Hosted CM Lodestar Motor Training in AustinSHS Global Training hosted their first training session with Columbus McKinnon ET and Xtreme Structures at the SHS Global headquarters at Soundcheck Austin. On May 15th, 2015 over 30 people from the industry attended this one day session covering basic maintenance and troubleshooting of Classic and Next Generation one-ton hoists. Attendees included, City of Austin, Illios Lighting, Midnight Lighting, ASAP Crew, ShurRig, and a local union to name a few. "Had a great training day in Austin, Texas this past week. Many companies and venues came together at SHS Global for the day long 'Basic Motor School.' Not only does SHS have a terrific black box theater setting for the class but provided breakfast and a barbecue lunch to top it off. A big thank you to Leigh Anne and her crew for hosting this event. I am looking forward to doing it again," says Herb Hart, sales manager of Columbus McKinnon ET. "We were very pleased to host this event for CM and XSF. This will be the first of many training sessions hosted here at Soundcheck. Great efforts have been made to equip the live room with a grid structure so that we can build on our training platform an accommodate lighting, video, audio, and rigging training.
