David Krall Joins Audinate's Board of Directors

David Krall has joined Audinate's board of directors. He formerly served as president and CEO of Avid Technology, and most recently served as president and COO of Roku.

Krall is also a member of the board of directors of Progress Software and is a board member and executive chairman of QSecure, Inc. In addition, he currently serves as a strategic advisor for Roku, a manufacturer of streaming media players. His prior operational experience includes serving as president and COO of Roku (2010), president and CEO of QSecure (2008-2010), and as and CEO of Avid Technology (2000-2007). Prior to Avid, he served as VP of engineering and as COO of Digidesign.

"I am extremely impressed how, in such a short time, Audinate has become the darling of the AV industry for its digital media networking technology," said Krall. "From what I can see, Audinate has the only well-conceived transition strategy to provide a complete IP networking solution today plus a migration path as standards like AVB evolve. I look forward to partnering with Audinate's talented management team to help contribute to the success of this innovative company."

"We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of David's track record and knowledge in both the AV industry and consumer video markets, join our board of directors," said Lee Ellison, CEO of Audinate. "David's depth of experience in helping build companies known for innovation and growth is the ideal complement to our already talented group and board of directors."

Krall holds bachelor of science and master of electrical engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of business administration degree, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School.
