Stageline Stages on Antonov Cargo Plane

Weighing a total of 120,00lbs, three Stageline mobile stages left from Montreal to Abuja, Nigeria, flying over the Atlantic Ocean. After a 13.5 hour flight in an Antonov 124, one of the largest cargo planes ever made, the stages reached their destination the next day.

Departing from Mirabel International Airport on March 6, two Stageline SL320s and one Stageline SL260, were loaded into the Antonov, heading to Abuja, Nigeria. The high-profile client ordered the three stages only a few weeks earlier and needed them in Nigeria by the beginning of the week. The client arranged for the equipment to be loaded and delivered in the world's most expensive means of transportation.

Stageline is no newcomer to the African market. From Nigeria and Mozambique to South Africa, the company had been working with African businesses for the past five years. Stageline models including, the SL100, SL260, Promobile, and SL320 were used in Africa for the World Cup celebrations.
