PLASA Focus: Leeds 2011 Grows with New Features

PLASA Focus: Leeds 2010

There have been record-breaking visitor preregistrations for PLASA Focus: Leeds 2011, taking place at The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 19-20.

PLASA Events attributes the increase in visitor registrations to a host of new features at the show, including an extended exhibitor list of 120 companies including 21 first-timers, a seminar program that is twice the size of previous years, case study presentations from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Opera North, special interest seminars presented by some of the industry's leading bodies, and new opportunities to book seats on 45-minute product demonstration seminars. Private meetings are also available for the first time, with the availability of three private conference rooms at PLASA Focus, with slots still available.

The 21 new exhibitors come from across the spectrum of audio, lighting, staging and AV and include Ampetronic, Architainment Lighting, Blakley Electrics, Doodson Entertainment, ESP, Fane International, Freestyle Music, Highlight International, Hive, Ide Systems, Klotz, Leisuretec Distribution, LS-Live / Backstage Academy, Metool Reeling, Proel, Pro Light Concepts, Studio Due, Technical Performance and Presentation, Trace, Vectorworks and Visual Impact.

Show Manager Sophie Atkinson said: "The show continues to grow in popularity and we are pleased to be able to introduce a number of new developments this year. As well as over 20 seminars and a diverse range of exhibitors, we have the UK debut of dozens of new products fresh from international launches at ISE and ProLight + Sound. The show continues to improve, but we are being very careful to keep the friendly and informal spirit that people expect from PLASA Focus - this is a very sociable event and we're looking forward to a great show."
