Look Solutions' TINY FX Fogger Welcomes Chinese New Year at Bellagio, Las Vegas

Look Solutions' TINY fogger worked the Chinese New year at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

The Year of the Dragon came early to the Bellagio's Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, featuring a colorful display replete with animatronic dragons to welcome the Chinese New Year. Look Solutions' TINY FX fogger was used to enhance the atmosphere.

Over 22,000 flowers were used to create this year's display, which includes a towering red pagoda, a pair of ' blue animatronic dragons coiled around a cylinder of water as they pursue a huge red pearl suspended above them, and four additional 15' animatronic dragons surrounded by bridges, red silk Chinese lanterns, a gazebo and a pile of I-Ching coins. The practice of Feng Shui was employed to position the flow of water in the display.

"Everything in the display is larger than life; they're all big props," says Tina Rath, of 4Wall Entertainment, the event's gear supplier. "This year some of the props look like burning incense, which we have created by using Look Solutions' TINY fogger. The fogger's size made it the perfect choice for incense effects in the tableau."

Truly small in its footprint, the lightweight TINY FX consists of just two components: the machine and its battery pack. "The TINY has been working great in the Bellagio display," Rath reports. "We have been happy with Look Solutions products and use the Unique2 hazer for other applications."

Troy Eckerman, of Chroma Designs Inc., in Spring, Texas was the lighting designer for the Chinese New Year display.
