Ron StageMaster Introduces a New Generation and a New North American Representative

Eilon Engineering is launching its new generation of the Ron StageMaster wireless and wired load monitoring systems. The new systems will be showcased at Prolight+Sound, March 21-24, in Frankfurt, Germany, and at USITT, March 29-31, in Long Beach California.

The main improvements include extended battery life of up to 2,500 hours, as well as dual, triple, or quad frequency channels. This will ensure a continuous and reliable load monitor reading even if one or more of the frequency channels are blocked due to environmental interference, the company says.

Each Ron StageMaster system will come standard with two frequency channels. Two additional channels may be added as an optional feature. The system will switch between channels once per second and will continuously cycle through all available channels while in operation. The dual system will simply switch between channels. When using three or four channels, the system will run through all the channels in order. This cycling through the channels increases safety and reliability. If one channel is blocked due to environmental interference, the system will receive a reliable reading on an alternative channel within one second. This will negate the possibility of not receiving transmission.

Eilon Engineering has recently negotiated an agreement with Cast North America, inc., of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and has appointed Cast NA as its North American Representative for the Ron StageMaster line of load-cell measuring devices. The principles at Cast NA are long-time members of the North American Production Community and are well acquainted with the entertainment and exhibition industries in the Americas, the company says.

For the last few years Eilon Engineering has been distributing the Ron StageMaster systems in Germany and other European countries through Cast GMBH in Germany. The strong cooperation between the two companies led to sales of the Ron StageMaster systems to some of Germany's most important venues and production companies such as Munich Olympia Park, Nurnberg Exhibition Center, Malecon, Swiss TV, and many more. This commitment to excellence and service is now being exported to Cast NA. "We are very optimistic about this new endeavor in light of our strong cooperation with Cast in Europe and the increasing awareness and demand for load monitoring, as well as the new standards in Europe that are influencing other parts of the world, including North America" Ilan Bahar, Ron StageMaster product manager at Eilon Engineering.

"The new cooperation between Cast NA and Eilon Engineering is offering us in the US an opportunity to extend the success that Eilon has been having with our sister companies on the European continent. This is one of those moments where you have the feeling that after a lifetime of work, you might be able to make a contribution to the industry that will make a mark that may never be forgotten. These products are going to make a difference in the industry that will be more than a new color or a better look on the deck. This is a system, a concept, and an idea that is meant to protect us all and possibly save lives. This is something that will help to assure that we all make the load in tomorrow morning," says Bill Pierson, Cast North America.
