MIDAS Debuts PRO Series at NAMM 2013

Digital live audio mixing console manufacturer Midas will showcase its PRO series of desks at the winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California, January 24-27. This is the first time the entire PRO series family has been seen together on America's west coast.

Midas brand development manager, Richard Ferriday comments: "We look forward to welcoming our American audiophile friends to booth B 5740 at NAMM, where we will have our product range hooked up to audio and ready to go. Visitors are invited to play with and listen to the consoles. Jay Easley, Kyle Chirnside, and I will be on hand to answer questions, and we're confident that everyone who attends will enjoy the experience!"

Midas launched the smallest of its PRO series -- the award winning PRO1 -- at InfoComm in Las Vegas last June 2012, followed by its European debut at London's PLASA in September. The PRO1 features an all-new, lightweight aluminum frame and is the first stand-alone Midas digital console, unique for its portability and performance for a "compact" digital console, the company says.

Just over one year since the launch of its well received PRO2 and PRO2C consoles, Midas is reveling in the overwhelming success of the consoles. "When we launched PRO2/C, we knew we were offering a fantastic package -- high quality, competitive pricing, and great sound," says Ferriday. "However, we didn't anticipate the speed with which the industry has embraced the innovative, unique workflow -- and advanced navigation features we offer. I'm happy to say that we have now cleared the backlog of orders, and customers no longer have to wait to enjoy the superb performance of our sample-synchronous technology, for no more money than an ordinary console."

In the past year MIDAS PRO consoles have been the choice on an increasing number of festival and live tour riders including the BT Live concerts at Hyde Park held during the Olympic Games, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds world tour, Florence and The Machine, and Evanescence right through to the complex networks involving multiple consoles for events such as The Queen's Jubilee concert and the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo.

Midas will be exhibiting its PRO series on booth 5740 (hall B) at NAMM, January 24-27 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California. The annual NAMM serves as a hub for people seeking out the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, sound and lighting.
