Electro-Voice Launches ZXA1-Sub at Winter NAMM

Electro-Voice launched the ZXA1-Sub the matching subwoofer for its ZXA1 compact self-powered loudspeaker this week at NAMM in Anaheim.

The company says the ZXA1-Sub is designed to provide the ultimate combination of portability, performance, and power in a lightweight, stylish, small-format package. It is equipped with a heavy-duty EV-engineered 12" woofer, a 700W amplifier, a durable 15-mm wood enclosure, and a maximum SPL rating of 126 dB; it weight in at just 46lbs and sports a trim 15.75" x 17.5" x 18" profile.

Features include an integrated dual XLR stereo inputs and output, pole mounting for full-range systems, nine-ply/15mm wood enclosure, internally braced, with textured paint, and DSP with low-end boost and polarity control.
