Morpheus Lights Debuts Ayrton's new Radical "R" Series LED Luminaires at InfoComm 2014

Ayrton's MagicRing R9 distributed in the US by Morpheus Lights

Morpheus Lights, the exclusive US distributor of Ayrton LED luminaires, will present the North American combined debut of the new MagicBlade R, MagicPanel R, and MagicRing R9 LED Beam Projector fixtures in booth CO5558 at InfoComm 2014 running June 18 - 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ayrton's new Radical Series brings an entirely new dimension to their LED products. Developed from the popular MagicPanel 602, Ayrton has incorporated their new 4.5-degree fixed beam optics, combined with Osram Ostar RGBW LED chipsets, into three, incredibly powerful, new luminaires. MagicPanel R, MagicBlade R, and the MagicRing R9 all offer unlimited 360-degree pan and tilt, RGBW color mixing, and smooth movement. Designers can explore motion, color, intensity, and form in completely new ways.

The new MagicBlade R is an automated LED luminaire with seven individually controllable Radical series 4.5-degree beam emitters in a linear configuration. MagicBlade R creates smooth color mixes in tightly controlled swaths of light, as well as a unique high intensity light curtain. When used in multiples, MagicBlade R units combine their beams to create impressive volumetric effects in three dimensions with unlimited pan and tilt.

MagicBlade R can be controlled via a number of protocols, including DMX-512 with RDM, Art-Net, KlingNet, and LumenRadio wireless DMX.

MagicPanel R combines the best features of the MagicPanel 602 with the technological innovations found in the new Radical line of fixtures from Ayrton. The same compact, 15W RGBW multi-chip LEDs are matched with the new 4.5-degree, 67mm diameter PMMA collimators in a 5 x 5 matrix, which delivers a brighter and narrower beam. This configuration produces overall flux of 11,500 lumens, and center beam luminous intensity at over a million candela -- at an overall power consumption of merely 450W. That's about twice the brightness at one third less power than MagicPanel 602, due to the unit's tighter beam pattern. The large library of pre-programmed effects enables designers to project dynamic 3D volumetric effects at significantly further ranges. MagicPanel R also features the same continuous, unlimited, rotation on pan and tilt as the MagicPanel 602.

MagicRing R9 automated LED luminaire delivers the most radical solution to design challenges of all the new fixtures from Ayrton. With an overall flux of 28,000 lumens and a center beam luminous intensity of over three million candela, MagicRing R9 is tailor-made for situations where the quality, as well as quantity, of light is a paramount concern. Each of the 61, 4.5-degree LED sources in MagicRing R9 can be individually controlled, or the fixture can be operated in 20-channel mode with pre-programmed effects.

With a center point emitter, plus four concentric rings, MagicRing R9 provides designers with a variety of new graphic options, including dynamic multicolor volumetric modeling of the massive beam. Like MagicBlade R and the two MagicPanel fixtures, MagicRing R9 offers unlimited, continuous rotation on both pan and tilt axes.

Ayrton's continuing goal is to create unique products that expand the possibilities of "Light in Action."
