Leprecon Updates LPC Controller Line

Leprecon's LPC-48 lighting console

Leprecon LLC, a provider in theatrical lighting consoles, power distribution, and dimming systems, announces the release of a new version of the LPC series lighting console. The new consoles features version 3.0 software and three front panel encoders for parameter control.

Leprecon LPC consoles were first introduced in 2009. A combination of faders and software features allow easy programming of systems consisting of conventional, LED, and automated fixtures. Recorded scenes can be played back using the cue stack controls, submaster faders, or button-activated quick looks.

The new version 3 console has three front panel encoders allowing for quick access to color, beam, and position parameters. Version 3 software features an enhanced programming interface for easier recording, and supports DMX over Ethernet using the universal Art-Net protocol. Updated products include the LPC-48, LPC-96, and LPC-24'Lil' Wing' consoles.

Other V3 software features include:
• Improved cue stack functions including the ability to edit all parameters on the cue list screen
• Lock submaster function -- locks specific submaster(s) for access on all pages
• Stage capture feature for copying multiple active scenes including attributes of LED and ML to a new destination with the ability to edit at a later time
• Improved group screen view
• Increased performance when programming large shows
• Upgraded DMX shutdown when powering off
• Enhanced support for adding fixtures with multiple modes
• Special blackout handling for LED fixtures with improperly implemented dimmer function
• Software bug fixes and improvements
