projectiondesign Sponsors Virtual Efficiency Congress

For the third year running, projectiondesign is participating at the Virtual Efficiency Congress (VEC) -- Germany's biggest conference dedicated to Virtual Reality.

As a key sponsor of the conference program, the company will use the event to launch new stereoscopic projection and showcase business tools for virtual reality displays. projectiondesign is a member of the Virtual Dimension Center (VDC), which is aimed at promoting the virtual design and engineering community.

projectiondesign will showcase the 2,560 x 1,600 pixel-resolution F35 wqxga projector in a 3D in cooperation with German specialist supplier awater 3D.

The F35 wqxga is the highest resolution DLP projector available for commercial use, the company says. In complex systems, it has the immediate effect of enabling fewer channels, reduced replacement lamps, fewer channels to align and half the calibration complexity thus optimizing operating costs for a wealth of applications.

Winner of the Most Innovative Install-Grade Projector award at InfoComm 2011, the F35 wqxga is the benchmark for projectors in is category, with its ultra-precise colors, unmatched imaging quality and warranties, the company says.

In addition to being an exhibitor, projectiondesign is also a technology sponsor of the VEC, and will supply high resolution F82 projectors for stereoscopic imaging for the Congress' technical workshops.

Footage and graphics including 3DVIA from 3D content software developer Dassault Systèmes will ensure that visitors to the VEC are impressed not just by the image quality and technical superiority of the projectiondesign offering, but by the range of new applications that are possible, the company says.

projectiondesign will also work with technology providers INFITEC at the Congress. ,p> Organized by the Virtual Dimension Center in Fellbach, near Stuttgart, and held at the town's Schwabenlandhalle conference center the Congress is expected to attract more than 400 delegates and will this year be divided into three tracks: Engineering, Process and Management; and Communications and Marketing.
