Creative Conners Debuts New Stagehand Mini2 Controller

Creative Conners' Mini2 Stagehand controller

"Two brains are better than one," says Gareth Conner, president of Creative Conners, on the launch of their latest Stagehand controller, Mini2, which made its backstage debut with client All Access Staging on the Eminem / Rihanna Monster Tour.

In this production, the Mini2 seamlessly connected six hydraulic scissor lifts to Spikemark control software, but it is not limited to hydraulics. The Mini2 connects any two drives to Spikemark for precisely controlled motion of hydraulics, brushless servos, large AC motors, and more. Through a simple, standard control interface the Mini2 brings the elegant simplicity of Spikemark cueing to any machine backstage-two at a time.

Although it can be used singly, the company says the ability of the new Mini2 to cue two machines combined with its additional inputs, drive communication, streamlined cabling, improved OLED display, and handy 3U rack mount enclosure, make it the most flexible Stagehand controller yet.

Features include:
•Front panel jog controls for load in / maintenance calls
•Illuminated character display ideal for backstage pitch-black environment
•Encoder position displayed during manual moves
•Clear information display for all limits and faults that may have stopped motion
•Easily accessed / altered IP address for easier shop prep
•Standard 19" 3U enclosure for road case or backstage equipment rack
•Seamless integration with Spikemark for easy cue programming

The Stagehand Mini2 is available for immediate purchase including shipping quote online at the Creative Conners eStore: store.creativeconners.com.
