d3 Technologies Releases New Software: d3 r11.3 Now Available

d3 Technologies has just released their latest software, d3 r11.3. New features include 16K resolutions, enhanced video capture, video input patching, audio output patching, and improved SockPuppet DMX integration.

In r11.3, the user's screens, videos, and bitmaps can now be 16,386 pixels wide or tall. A GPU with support for DirectX 11 is required to enable this.

Significant under the hood changes have brought a range of improvements for enhanced video capture. Auto-configuration, lower latency capture for the d3 pro range and weighted frame blending to improve handling mismatched input/output refresh rates.

When mixing machines or capturing different video in different places, video input patching now handles the user's SDI capture across their whole rack of machines. It is possible to even substitute video inputs for still place holder images during pre-programming.

Virtual channel pairs via audio output patching allows the user to configure all those channels of audio across their rack of machines. The company says user settable labeling means that getting the down stage monitors piped out of the right machine becomes a whole lot easier.

After scores of shows, the company has tightened up and extended the SockPuppet DMX control of d3. The d3 GUI now dynamically responds to show the edits a user is making from their desk. Media bank manifests help with management, and more granular video controls help get that exact video transition the user wants without touching the keyboard.

The new d3 r11.3 is now available for download for d3 customers, and new products will be shipped with the new release installed.

d3's entire feature suite is on the d3 Technologies at the URL below.
