Active Production and Design, Inc. Adds Elation Platinum Series Fixtures to Inventory

Matt Clouser, owner of Active Production and Design with the new Platinum Series moving heads from Elation Professional.

Active Production and Design, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, has recently added several dozen Elation Professional Platinum Series moving heads to its inventory. The addition of Platinum Profile 35 Pro and Platinum Spot 15R Pro moving heads complements Active's already expansive lighting inventory.

"We partnered with Elation due to the great product and its features as well as the personal customer service we receive from Freed Sales, Elation's east coast distributer," commented Matt Clouser, owner of Active Production and Design. "The Profile 35 gives us the capability of using a fully automated lighting system for our large corporate lighting designs. Not having to get in a lift and focus Lekos offers cost savings and huge diversity in the lighting looks and scenes we can achieve for our clients. Having the framing shutters is what sealed the deal on the Pro 35's. We can get that tight podium focus, frame in set pieces and keep the light off the video screens."

The Platinum Profile 35 Pro is a full-featured professional lighting fixture with flexible four-blade rotating framing system that runs at 800W, yet delivers an output comparable to 1,200W moving head profile MSR fixtures. The 300W Platinum Spot 15R Pro is a full-featured color and graphics luminaire with comparable output to a 700W fixture.

"We are excited to see the successes these new fixtures will bring us in the future," stated Active Production and Design VP John Fox. "With the great features, cool gobos, and multitude of filters and effects, creating one-of-a-kind visual experiences for our clients will be as easy as a touch of a Whole Hog button."

See Elation Professional at PLASA Focus: Orlando, that runs through today, February 18.
