ETC Gearing Up for PLASA Focus: Orlando Show

GDS ArcSystem by ETC

ETC's stand 300 at the PLASA Focus: Orlando show, February 17 - 18, will be packed with the latest lighting and rigging equipment.

Visitors will get the opportunity to see ETC's family of lighting fixtures, including the Source Four LED Series 2, Source Four Mini, Source Four Mini LED, and the newest addition to the family, the ColorSource PAR. The ColorSource PAR is a budget-friendly LED luminaire whose color and features go beyond what other inexpensive LED fixtures are capable of. ETC adds lime emitters to a mix of red, green, and blue, which creates richer color, especially in the red, gold, and orange range. The color mix also produces more flattering, adjustable white light and a brighter beam, so venues with limited budgets can have ETC-quality lighting.

The GDS line of luminaires, power controls, and accessories will be available for demonstration on ETC's stand at PLASA Focus: Orlando. ETC manufactures and distributes GDS ArcSystem and BluesSystem products for North and South America, bringing the industry's best fully-dimmable overhead LED products and LED running lights to the ETC product lineup.

ETC's booth will also have a Gio lighting desk on display, along with the new ETC Nomad dongle. The tiny Nomad plugs into a computer, turning it into a lighting controller that can run both ETC Cobalt and Eos/Element software, giving programmers the best of both worlds. It's the perfect tool for on-the-go gigs or cramped lighting booths.

PLASA Focus attendees will also get to see ETC's Foundation rigging controller in action. Working with any Prodigy variable-speed or combination fixed- and variable-speed rigging system, the Foundation rigging controller promises the highest level of safety while controlling up to 48 hoists effortlessly and quietly.

ETC is also taking part in the seminars at PLASA Focus: Orlando. ETC outreach and training specialist Tom Littrell will host a seminar on "Layers of Light," explaining how ETC LED luminaires can be used for a variety of applications because of their color-mixing capabilities and beautiful white light. Littrell's sessions will be at 3:30pm on Tuesday, February 17, and 11:00am on Wednesday, February 18. Registration for the Layers of Light seminars can be found at the URL below.
