MagicSnow Celebrates A Decade of Dazzling "Snow-manship"

MagicSnow, the company that creates special effects snow, celebrates its 10th anniversary this October. Founded in 2002, MagicSnow is a resource for snow effects in the entertainment industry and for events worldwide.

From recently creating a mid-summer snow dome in the heart of New York City for Jaguar, to a "Guaranteed White Christmas" for The Weather Channel on Christmas morning in Texas, MagicSnow is renowned for producing the perfect snow scene whatever the temperature or location.

The company's "next generation" of snowmaking technology creates some of the most ultra-realistic snow effects ever seen, the company says.

The New York Times has said that MagicSnow is "fabulous and festive and exciting."

MagicSnow founder and president Adam Williams comments, "Our goal is to go beyond fake snow and design interactive snow events that delight the senses and create unique and magical experiences for our audiences." Adding, "our first ten years has seen us bring our snow illusions to millions of people around the world."

In the past decade, MagicSnow has filled Radio City Music Hall with simulated snow for The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, generated a man-made snowfall down Fifth Avenue to launch Starbucks Holiday Blend and installed its artificial snow making systems on board the worldwide fleet of Princess Cruises.

MagicSnow is perhaps most well-known for its innovative, interactive snowfall experience, "The Magic of Snow," performed annually at dozens of world-class shopping centers like The Shops at Columbus Circle at Time Warner Center in New York, West Plaza in São Paulo, and The Grove in Los Angeles.

Looking ahead to the next decade, Williams says, "MagicSnow will continue develop new technologies to produce an even more immersive snow experience, particularly for warm weather climates." Adding, "Our goal is to create holiday traditions, making MagicSnow events as much a part of the holiday season as fireworks are a part of the Fourth of July."
