Music Inside Rimini Wins the Challenge

A success right from the debut. The first edition of "Music Inside Rimini -- Innovation, Technology, Light, Sound & Video," the event organized by Rimini Fiera in collaboration with APIAS, SILB FIPE, and ENA and with the patronage of Emilia Romagna Region and Rimini Municipality, which combines the entire professional music and live show market in a single expo, concluded earlier this week.

In three days, the even attracted 9,476 visitors (trade and public), without counting the fans and buffs who crowded the two festival evenings on Saturday and Sunday.

Rimini Fiera chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni comments, "We're proud to have correctly understood the market's new requirements, launching a trade fair project able to focus the attention of the business world to an important market such as Italy's."

Rimini Fiera's green, technology and entertainment business unit manager Simone Castelli comments, "The companies taking part appreciated the positive energy of Music Inside Rimini, praising its unique original format, which brings together trade members and buffs, expo areas, and demos."

A unique format for Italy and so original that, by combining professionals and buffs, business and consumer sectors, it was appreciated by all concerned, immediately assuming a leading role. In fact, lighting, audio, rigging, and video technologies were highlighted at the expo, as well as design, musical instruments, and clubbing, plus all the possible crossovers between culture, tourism, and entertainment.

Numerous new products were showcased in the halls. Starting with the Technology Expo and the halls hosting the Live Technology Show with the latest generation of lighting, audio, and video technology, in a dynamic interactive context conceived specifically for industry members, with unique shows able to fascinate the general public too. Music and live show fans also appreciated the hall hosting Music Inside Art -- The Village of Arts, in which music's key players interacted with those of contemporary art, the Fun Clubbing Zone, a lab of new electronic culture, and MiF - Music inside Festival, which drew thousands of young and not-so-young fans to listen to international star deejays. An event that has immediately become a reference point for the sector.

There was no lack of conferences, meetings, and talk sessions at Music Inside Rimini, under the Convention & Educational banner and, as is only fitting for an area of Italy in which rhythm has always been an integral part of life, appointments and events organized ad hoc in the Riviera's trendiest clubs.

Music Inside Rimini will be back at Rimini Fiera in May 2017.
