The Industry Celebrates with VUE at The 2020 NAMM Show

Ken Berger visiting with NAMM Show attendees in the VUE Audiotechnik stand.

Like clockwork, the music industry descends upon the Anaheim convention center in mid-January for the winter NAMM Show. The National Association of Music Merchants has a 100+ year history and all music product manufacturers consider winter NAMM to be "THE" show to exhibit.

VUE Audiotechnik's booth in the North Hall, showcased the al-Class line arrays, h-class point source loudspeakers as well as the e-class POE speakers which were bestowed awards from Front of House magazine and Pro Sound Web and Live Sound International Reader's Choice Awards. The e-351 POE and es-269 ACM Subwoofer both received Reader's Choice Awards. Online voting yielded two awards for Vue which reinforces the industry's recognition by the end user. The entire e-Class series received the Gold Star Product Award from Front of House.

Vue's presence at NAMM wasn't limited to the official Vue Audio booth. Audinate made use of an hm-108A stage monitor at their booth to showcase Vue's Dante connectivity. RME made use of three h-12 Loudspeakers along with an hs-20 Subwoofer. RME's booth featured a trio of musician's plugged directly into their recording interfaces. Vue's h-Class loudspeakers provided both the band and audience a full monitoring experience. All instruments, including drums and vocals were directly monitored via Vue h-Class. The volume, clarity, and separation between instruments was incredible. Applied Truss and Electronics suspended both al-8 and al-12 line arrays at their booth. Vue speakers were visible from ceiling height to just a few feet off the floor.

On Thursday January 16, Vue conducted demonstrations of the al-Class line arrays a few miles north of NAMM. The Slidebar Rock N Roll Kitchen provided a stage for the al-Class to be installed. Vue's central regional sales manager, James Duvall, gave the audience an informative presentation and impressive audio demo of the al-Class line arrays. Vue provided complimentary food and drinks as the demo then shifted into a party with DJ Aktive spinning for the rest of the night.

Vue's vice president of sales, Sara Elliott commented on the NAMM Show success. "We were honored to be selected by FOH for the Gold Star Product Award and to be chosen for awards by the readers of Pro Sound Web and Live Sound International. We'd like to thank all that attended NAMM especially those that attended our demo and party at the Slidebar. Our sales staff made some great connections that will catapult Vue to another level in 2020."

The NAMM Show was a great success for Vue and further showcased the brand to new heights. It sparked new business and reinforced relationships with current and ongoing clients. Next up is ISE Europe. Be sure to catch Vue in Amsterdam Hall 5, booth S137, February 10 - 14.
