Waves Announces SuperRack V15, Now with Full Immersive Audio Mixing Capabilities Waves Audio announces a new version (V15) of all SuperRack products, introducing full support for immersive audio mixing. With V15, SuperRack SoundGrid, SuperRack Performer, and SuperRack LiveBox now support 5.1.4, 7.1.4 and 9.1.4 immersive channel configurations, enabling powerful new workflows for immersive live broadcast and concert environments. Engineers can now craft immersive mixes for live broadcasts, live streamed events, and live concert audio, using Waves' extensive collection of professional plug-ins. With SuperRack LiveBox or SuperRack Performer, they can also integrate immersive VST3 plug-ins from other manufacturers. As part of this update, the Waves Immersive Wrapper plug-in is now compatible with all SuperRack products. This means any Waves mono plug-in can be transformed into an immersive processor: simply insert Immersive Wrapper into any SuperRack slot, load a mono Waves plug-in inside, and mix immersive live audio in real time. Immersive Wrapper is now also bundled with SuperRack LiveBox, making LiveBox the one-stop solution for immersive mixing in live broadcast and concert settings. SuperRack LiveBox gives sound engineers and creative artists access to all their favorite plug-ins, all running natively on an all-in-one 2U rack-mountable device, with Dante or MADI connectivity, and compatible with all major mixing consoles.
