Morpheus Lights Presents New Ayrton Fixtures at USITT 2017 Booth 727

Ayrton's new MagicPanel-FX will be on show at USITT.

Morpheus Lights, the exclusive US distributor of award-winning LED luminaires from Ayrton, will present a lively exhibit featuring exciting new fixtures at USITT Conference and Stage Expo 2017.

Morpheus will exhibit in booth 727 at America's Convention Center Complex in St. Louis, Missouri on March 9 - 11, showing meet the newest and brightest stars in the Ayrton galaxy!

Making its US debut at USITT 2017, MagicBlade-FX is a sunning evolution of Ayrton's popular MagicBlade-R. Ayrton has progressed that award-winning concept to a new dimension, and the response of the design community has been immediate and enthusiastic. MagicBlade-FX features Ayrton's new and proprietary optical zoom system, which arranges the squared 67mm optics in a seven-in-a-row configuration. The fixture projects up to 4,500 lumens with a quick and breathtaking 15:1 zoom from a slim, linear frame -- from a razor-sharp 3.6- degree blade to a broad 53-degree brushstroke. Paired once again with continuous, unlimited rotation on both pan and tilt axes, MagicBlade-FX expands creative opportunity exponentially.

Featured on the halftime show at Super Bowl LI, and marking another step in the evolution of the MagicPanel family, MagicPanel-FX multiplies the creative potential of this amazingly original family of fixtures.

MagicPanel-FX was the first luminaire to employ the Ayrton's proprietary 15:1 zoom system. It is an exciting new multi-function luminaire, which presents a front face of squared 67mm lenses in a five-by-five array, and is designed to conjure up a multiplicity of 2D and 3D effects with a powerful 18,000 lumen maximum output.

MagicPanel-FX projects tight, pixel-mappable shafts of light as well as wide washes. This multiplicity of appearances makes MagicPanel-FX ideal for video mapping and as a powerful special effects projector with a solid beam of light that squares off as it separates into a stunning patchwork of colors.

MagicBurst is the industry's first high-power graphic LED strobe with continuous, unlimited rotation on both pan and tilt axes -- and the first strobe unit to be produced by Ayrton. MagicBurst presents a 15" square face, with 3,840 high-output white LEDs grouped into an eight-by-eight matrix of individually controllable pixels, and then puts that matrix into continuous rotation. With a new ultra-compact 1,300W power supply, MagicBurst delivers peak light output of over 240,000 lumens -- perfectly calibrated at 5,600K.

Strobe duration, speed, and intensity of each LED pixel group can be individually programmed to create custom graphic effects, or the built-in library of fixed images and pre-programmed dynamic macros can be utilized. The dimensions of MagicBurst are standardized to allow it to be combined in arrays with Ayrton's new MagicPanel-FX luminaire or with DreamPanel-Twin and DreamPanel-Shift Imaging Display units. The results are breathtaking!

AlienPix-RS is a unique, multi-rotational fixture with eight axes of continuous rotation and six individually controllable beams. Inspired by fixtures from the '70s and '80s, AlienPix-RS uses modern technology, optics, and LED sources to combine a multiplicity of effects within a single luminaire.

A tight, 3.5-degree RGBW LED central emitter, with a center-beam luminous intensity of over 180 candelas per lumen, is surrounded by five individually controllable beams, each of which can tilt continuously as the fixture's head pans, tilts and rotates in any direction. AlienPix-RS can simultaneously perform up to eight multidirectional continuous rotations.

The compact MagicDot-SX is an evolution from the award-winning MagicDot-R, which adds an 8:1 zoom capability and LumenRadio wireless connectivity. The newly developed optical zoom has a fixed transmitting lens, no visible moving parts, and an incredible range of 5- to 40-degrees. The short stroke of the zoom system permits MagicDot-SX to switch from intense beam mode to sweeping wash mode virtually instantaneously.

MagicDot-SX has the identical physical dimensions and transmitting lens diameter as its MagicDot-R cousin and is capable of the same ultra-quick infinite rotation on pan and tilt, which makes it the most compact wash light and fastest zoom moving head on the market.

Also featured at Super Bowl LI, MagicDot-XT is a "supersized" version of the award-winning MagicDot-R, which scales the lens aperture up while narrowing the beam angle down. MagicDot-XT utilizes Ayrton's new and proprietary 5.0" diameter optical collimator to project an astonishing 2-degree beam with a center-beam intensity of 580,000 candelas.

Returning for an encore appearance at USITT with its new MagicPanel-FX and MagicBurst cousins, DreamPanel-Twin is a brilliant hybrid fixture with an eight-by-eight RGBW 45mm diameter 6-degree optic MagicPanel array on one side and a 64 x 64 pixel RGB video display at a 6mm pitch on the other. Capable of full continuous pan and tilt, the fixture permits creation of new and breathtaking graphic effects.

A member of Ayrton's NandoBeam family of S-series wash light luminaires, each of which is equipped with a 5:1 zoom, the NandoBeam-S9 is the largest and brightest fixture in the set. With quick and dynamic movement, and Ayrton's RGBW color control -- these fixtures excels in projection both saturated colors and pastels. NandoBeam-S9 has 55 emitters driving 12,000 lumens through a 10.6" diameter lens, to deliver a powerful 8-degree column of light, or zooming out to provide brilliant wash coverage at up to 40-degrees.
