MEGA-LITE Introduces Outshine LAVA Q380

MEGA-LITE introduces the Outshine LAVA Q380, a compact IP65-rated fixture for powerful wash, strobe, and pixel effects in production and permanent outdoor applications. With 12 individually controllable segments and forty-eight 8W RGBW LEDs, the LAVA Q380 combines wide coverage with dynamic pixel control in a compact fixture, the company says.

The unit's proprietary linear lens array positions the LEDs between three lens types to create an evenly spaced appearance and consistent wash coverage. With 12-pixel control, operators can create detailed movement and color effects across the fixture, while 11 DMX modes provide everything from simplified two-channel operation to full pixel control with up to 58 channels of RDM DMX.

The RGBW LED system provides a broad range of color options, along with CCT control from 2,000K to 10,000K, four built-in dimming curves, and tungsten mode. Its 71° and 113° field angles and 21- and 51-degree beam angles provide flexibility for both wide washes and more focused applications.

The unit features a compact die-cast aluminum housing, multiple mounting positions, and a magnetic filter system for quick accessory changes. Optional barn door, diffusion, top hat, and quick-release mounting accessories are available.
