Lombardi SLR joins Adamson's Energia in Italy

Presentation of Energia 15 to Lombardi SRL Sound crew.

Sting headlines the Italian debut of Adamson's Energia E15 system, closing the 2012 Umbria Jazz festival in Perugia, Italy.

Provided by Lombardi SLR, the first full service hire company in Italy to purchase E15's and join the growing global team of Energia rental companies. Based in Termoli, located on the Adriatic Sea, Lombardi carries a sizable existing Adamson inventory of Y18, Y10, T21 Sub, SpekTrix, Metrix, M15, and M215 monitors.

Historically Lombardi has worked with some of the biggest names in Italian touring including Gigi D'alessio, Anna Tatangelo, and provided sound production for such high profile events such as Umbria Jazz and Notte Della Taranta.

Reference Laboratory is in charge of all audio production at Umbria and turned to Cristiano Grassini, Lombardi front-of-house and systems engineer, to take the lead as the head of sound on the main stage "Arena Santa Giuliana." When considering the evolving Umbria sound system design, the most important factor is the wide variety of artists that cross the stage from the Jazz genre.

Artists such as Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, John Scofield, Al Jarreau, and Erykah Badu, played at this year's event.

Angelo Tordini of Reference Laboratory comments: "The closing show of the festival featured a highly acclaimed show by Sting. We received great reviews about the sound from the festival organizers, as well as the local and visiting engineers."

On joining the ranks of the Project Energia with the E15's, Pascuale Lombardi is looking into the future: "For many years Lombardi has had a trustworthy relationship with utmost professional respect towards Reference Laboratory. Originally, when Tordini suggested to test the Adamson Y-Axis, I took a chance, and just fell in love with it. Now, years later I decided to join the Energia network because I consider it an investment on a very innovative, and the future's market-leading product."

The Lombardi SLR E15's are currently on the Gigi D'Alessio world tour supporting his new album Chiaro.
