Adamson Expands Personnel Globally

Adamson's Miha Plohl, Ewan McDonald, Matt Gunn, and Jesse Adamson

Adamson announces adding and moving personnel, to better assist their customers. In the technical support department -- long time Adamson applications engineer Ewan McDonald has moved back to his homeland of Australia, enabling Adamson to use his new location to better serve their growing Asia Pacific market. McDonald's new position and years of experience as Adamson product support and applications engineer will aid him to focus further on Asia Pacific as Adamson's new business development manager for the territory. McDonald will organize and setup product demos in addition to supporting existing customers.

Adamson director of marketing and sales, Jesse Adamson's new right hand man, Matt Gunn, in the sales department took the position of a junior sales associate last fall and has quickly managed to put together demos and nurture existing sales avenues in the US and all of North America. He will also serve the US market with frequent demos and roadshows, as well as attending trade shows, and handling global direct sales.

To expand Adamson's existing marketing department, James Oliver has stepped in, and will work closely assisting Jesse Adamson on all marketing tasks from press to advertising, to trade show design and planning, and web and social media management. The position is a permanent one, and will expand the department when Ilona Utriainen returns next year from maternity leave. Oliver comes with more 10 years of marketing and graphics experience in various music related fields. It is expected for Oliver to continue to grow the efforts of expanding Adamson's market share in a year that is a milestone for Adamson. The company says 2013 marks the anniversary of Adamson celebrating 30 years of building excellence and developing sophisticated speaker designs for the professional loudspeaker markets. This anniversary will also coincide with the launch of a wide range of new products into its Energia line, as well as introducing a brand new economical small-format Installation series, the Point Concentric.

In Europe, Miha Plohl has been hired as manufacturer's rep and will closely work with Adamson Europe GmbH as their technical sales liaison for eastern and southeastern European markets, based out of Slovenia. Plohl will be closing the gap for those territories without direct distributorship, and help Adamson Europe GmbH better serve and demo products in those territories. Plohl's passion for professional audio and his multi-lingual abilities will aid in serving such a diverse and multi-cultural territory. The territory is made up of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Romania.
