MEA Mobile Releases iPhone-based Lighting Controller

MEA Mobile announces that the latest version of its lighting product iGloLEDset, is now available. iGloLEDset is the first-ever available, real-time, iPhone based, controller for color lights. Users control a 16' - 49' strip of LED lights by moving the iPhone around in the air, or by touching the screen to paint the lights different colors.

"iGloLEDSet is the most physically engaging lighting technology since the on switch," says Bruce Seymour, managing director of MEA Mobile, "Devices controlling other devices is convergence defined. We're excited to be at the intersection of two erupting technologies; LED lighting and mobile tech."

The new version, shipping with firmware 1.2 expands users' ability to save default patterns and pattern segments. "Our focus was developing an intuitive way for people to control color lights. If you can download an app, you can setup the iGloLEDset," says Seymour.

The product is shipping worldwide and is now available through Amazon.com or directly at igloledset.com. While hundreds of presets are available, the real fun is programming your own sequences, the company says.

MEA Mobile develops software and hardware for the Apple iOS and Android platforms. The company offers full service development from concept stage through to post launch support. It also offers web back-end services, social platform development, and web design.

Originally designed for architectural lighting, iGloLEDset is also suitable for bars, restaurants, jazzing up cars, dorm rooms, and dance floors.
