Alcons Audio will return to InfoComm with its Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience. Continuing its evolution, this year Alcons will be partnering with FLUX technologies and their SPAT Revolution immersive platform, DiGiCo is providing a Quantum 338 console package, and Mega-Lite is providing lighting, video, and truss systems.

Special guest Robert Scovill, well-respected engineer for Rush, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, currently on tour with Kenny Chesney, will be on hand to talk about his experience with Alcons systems and his use of his Alcons portable reference monitor package for all his touring production work. Scovill will be an integral part of the demo room schedule, explaining how the specific advantages of the pro-ribbon systems are his reference source in preparing for concerts and productions from small to large.

The QRP40 2-way column loudspeaker, loaded with eight 5" woofers and the RBN1203 12" / 30cm pro-ribbon driver, is designed for applications where ultimate fidelity response needs to be projected with wide horizontal and narrow vertical coverage, ideal in acoustically challenging environments.

The triple 12" QB363 mkII arrayable subwoofer forms the perfect base as slim profile stack system with the QRP40, the company says.

The QRP20 is a compact 2-way column array system with high-Q directivity for increased projection control, without the need for DSP beemsteering.

Featuring the RBN401 pro-ribbon driver with 4 5" woofers, it offers a perfect intelligibility and intuitive linear response at any SPL with a 1:15 dynamic range, ultra-low distortion and a maximum "gain-before-feedback," both in mobile or fixed install applications.

A new pro-ribbon array system will see its worldwide introduction at the show; This system combines a new purpose-designed RBN pro-ribbon driver platform with next-gen woofer technology, loaded by new FlowVent acoustic technology.

The resulting super accurate response sets new standards in class-leading output under lowest distortion, the company says. It's part of a complete eco-system, with acoustics, amplification, processing, and logistics.

The BC272 is a self-contained, cardioid subwoofer system, designed to offer a tight and accurate sub-bass response, with a controlled-dispersion.

By means of a front positioned 15" and rear located 12" woofer configuration, in combination with dedicated processing, the system offers selectable cardioid low-frequency pattern control with a benchmark-setting rear rejection of up to 42dB, without the need for additional cabinets.
