ADJ Introduces the LED Pixel Tube 360 Color-Changing Light Stick

ADJ LED Pixel Tube 360 color-changing light stick

The LED Pixel Tube 360 from ADJ Products will infuse any environment with a new level of drama, excitement, and visual sophistication, the company says. More than simply an entertainment lighting fixture, this 39.5"/1,000mm bright color-changing LED tube is a glowing "candle of light" that can be used in multiples, offering limitless possibilities to creatively transform your surroundings and décor via RGB illumination.

Hang multiple LED Pixel Tube 360s from overhead circular trussing to create the effect of a chandelier over a stage or dance floor. Position the tubes at varying heights behind a musician or in the DJ booth for a dramatic candelabra-like performance backdrop. Or, highlight a display fixture, bar counter or walkway by outlining it with these colorful light sticks.

Each LED Pixel Tube 360 unit contains 64 high-output TRI LEDs, which produce bright, shadow-free RGB colors. The LEDs are encased in transparent UV-resistant polycarbonate tubing, so they are visible for a full 360-degrees around the unit at all angles, filling the room with their radiant colored light.

The LED Pixel Tube 360 generates no heat, so it can run all night without duty cycles, while maintaining a comfortable environment for performers and patrons alike. It also uses very little energy, drawing just 15W, and it's virtually maintenance-free with a 50,000-hour LED lifespan.

Great for DJs, mobile entertainers, musicians, nightclubs, bars, parties, retail stores, and architectural lighting, these versatile easy-to-use tubes offer a full complement of features and effects to enhance your designs. These include RGB color mixing, an LED strobe and pulse effect, 0-100% electronic dimming, built-in color macros, and sound-active operation.

In order to access these features, the LED Pixel Tube 360 must be used with one of two proprietary driver/controllers from ADJ: the LED Pixel 4C or the LED Pixel 10C (sold separately). Capable of controlling four and 10 LED Pixel Tube 360 units respectively, the LED Pixel 4C and LED Pixel 10C give users full command over the tubes' features. The controllers are linkable via three-pin XLR cable, and they're DMX compatible, each offering four different DMX channel operational modes (five, seven, 14, and 192 channels for the LED Pixel 4C; five, seven, 32, and 480 channels for the LED Pixel 10C). The LED Pixel 4C and LED Pixel 10C are also compatible with the ADJ LED RC wireless remote (sold separately) for convenient cordless control.

"There's really no end to what you can do with the LED Pixel Tube 360. We believe that once an entertainer or establishment adds this RGB color-changing tube to their lighting repertoire, they'll keep finding new ways to use it -- and wonder how they ever did without it!" said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for ADJ Products. "The LED Pixel Tube 360 makes it easy to create the kinds of professional cutting-edge designs you're seeing everywhere today -- from world-class clubs and architectural installations, to concert tours and TV productions."

Lightweight and easy to handle and transport, each LED Pixel Tube 360 unit weighs only 2lb. / 0.5kg and measures 39.5"L x 2"W x 2"H / 1000 x 50 x 50mm.

The LED Pixel 4C driver/controller weighs 5lb. / 2kg, and measures 10.25"L x 8"W x 3.25"H / 259 x 200 x 80mm. The LED Pixel 10C driver/controller weighs 10lb. / 4.2kg, and measures 12.75"L x 11.25"W x 3.25"H / 318 x 280 x 80mm. Both controllers come with a built-in reversible hanging/truss bracket, and feature multi-voltage operation: AC100-240V, 50/60 Hz.

In addition to selling the tubes and controllers individually, ADJ is offering a complete ready-to-go system, the LED Pixel Tube 360 Sys, consisting of four tubes, one LED Pixel 4C controller, and all required cables.
