Sonny Sonnenfeld to Chair Panel at NATEAC

Sonny Sonnenfeld, the legendary sales guy and an icon of the lighting manufacturing industry, will speak at the North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC) 2012. Sonnenfeld, along with Mark Vassallo, ETC; Jonathan Resnick, Barbizon Lighting; and Bob Lorelli, of Robert Lorelli Associates, will discuss the art and science of dealing with manufacturers reps when outfitting a new performance space.

"Sonny has been in this industry longer than most of us have been alive", noted conference director Bill Sapsis. "It's a terrific opportunity for anyone who wants to hear how things were done before, how they're done now, and what's in store for the future."

Sonnenfeld's career in the entertainment industry began when he was discharged from the army in 1945. He started out with Century Lighting as a sales engineer and over the years has worked with a number of companies including L&E and ETC. He is currently a consultant with City Theatrical. He has also written extensively for industry magazines.

NATEAC takes place at the Hilton New York on July 22 - 23. For more conference information and registration details please visit the URL below.
