Clear-Com to Launch HME DX210 Wireless Intercom System at Prolight + Sound 2011

Clear-Com will launch the HME DX210 to the European live performance market at Prolight + Sound 2011 (Stand 8.0 L71). Clear-Com will demonstrate the HME DX210, along with HME DX100, HME DX121, and HME DX300ES. With the addition of HME DX210 and the other HME DX Series wireless products, Clear-Com says it is now the only provider in the live performance market to provide the breadth of basic, advanced and expert level wireless intercom solutions including the Tempest2400 2.4GHz system, FreeSpeak 1.8-1.93GHz system and HME PRO850 UHF band system.

Clear-Com says the HME DX Series family of digital wireless systems offers the perfect blend of superior wireless performance in the 2.4GHz band with simplified user operations. Based on the HME DX200, the HME DX210 is a newly-designed, two-channel wireless intercom. While being inherently intuitive, the DX210 supports up to 16 full-duplex and 44 half-duplex belt packs and/or wireless headsets by linking four base stations. The DX210, as do all DX Series systems, features the proprietary Spectrum-Friendly Technology to avoid frequency conflicts and digital frequency-hopping, spread spectrum (FHSS) technology for interference-free communication.

One of the features in the DX210 is a digital auto-nulling circuit, which allows users to eliminate the return audio of the wired two-wire intercom automatically. DX210's wired intercom interface is compatible with Clear-Com or RTS's two-wire systems. The DX210 offers two-wire circuit protection to prevent feedback from un-terminated two-wire channels. The DX210 supports two separate two-wire and four-wire interconnections. It also has an assignable AUX input for program. The DX210 allows for relay (GPO) actuation with ISO function from either base station or any one of the appropriately configured proprietary COMMUNICATOR, allowing the system to interface with third party products.

"Clear-Com's HME DX210 sets a new standard in multi-channel wireless intercom," said Craig Frederickson, product manager of the HME DX Series. "The new system incorporates all the necessary features and interfaces, for critical communications in a rugged, cost-effective package which is simple to install and use."
