City Theatrical's SHoW DMX SHoW Baby Wins Product Award at LDI 2011

City Theatrical's SHoW DMX SHoW Baby won the Best Debuting Product in the widget category at LDI 2011.

SHoW Baby is a wireless DMX transceiver, meaning it can be either a transmitter or a receiver. The award judges commented that SHoW Baby has the easiest user's manual around. "For a transmitter, plug DMX in, for a receiver, don't." SHoW Baby utilizes a clever DMX input jack that senses when a DMX cable from the lighting console is plugged in, and configures itself to be a transmitter. Without sensing DMX in, it configures itself as a receiver. There are no other user choices to make; SHoW Baby is entirely plug-and-play, with no buttons to push, settings to adjust, or menu options to choose.

While SHoW Baby is simple to set up, it utilizes the same state-of-the-art, high fidelity, low latency radio as City Theatrical's top of the line professional system, SHoW DMX Neo, giving it a range of 100m [328'] indoors and 500m [1,640.4'] outdoors. SHoW Baby also utilizes adaptive frequency hopping in the 2.4GHz band so it will not interfere with, or be interfered by, other radio signals.
