Drama Desk Award Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 60th Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced April 23. The ceremony, to honor both Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway productions, will take place May 31 at The Town Hall, New York. In the design categories, An American in Paris and Hamilton are tied with four nominations each. For Paris, 59 Productions is in the running for Outstanding Projection Design, Jon Weston for Sound Design in a Musical, and Bob Crowley for both Costume and Set Design. For Hamilton, the nominations go to Nevin Steinberg for Sound Design in a Musical, David Korins for Set Design, Paul Tazewell for Costume Design, and Howell Binkley for Lighting Design.

Crowley is also nominated for Outstanding Costume Design for his work in The Audience.
