High End Systems Hosts Competition at Prolight + SoundHigh End Systems, a Barco company, announced today that it will be hosting a competition at Prolight + Sound 2012, March 21-24, in Frankfurt. The first ever "Battle of the Hogs" competition will take place daily in the High End Systems stand. The "Battle of the Hogs" competition showcases the showmanship, timing, and talent of Wholehog programmers and operators. Each participant will have 90 seconds to perform on the main console in the performance section of the High End Systems / Arcus booth. Utilizing lighting equipment including the Technospot, TechnoArc, trackspot Bolt, and DLV Digital Lights, the contestants will demonstrate their individual playback abilities on a Road Hog Full Boar lighting console. Each round will feature various tracks of music to ensure the battles are energetic and fierce, the company says. The competition will take place daily during the trade show at the following times: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. Each round will involve five participants competing for the coveted win. All participants will receive special promotional items and be entered into a drawing to win Wholehog accessories. To enter into the "Battle of the Hogs" competition, competitors must sign up at the High End Systems / Arcus stand during the trade show. Limited slots are available, so the company suggests that interested parties sign up early. High End Systems is presenting its products with its exclusive German distributor Arcus in Booth #A88, located in Hall 9.0. Products on display will include the DLV and DL.3 Digital Lights, Technospot, TechnoArc, intellaspot, Cyberlight 2.0, SHOWGUN 2.5, FQ-100 fog machine, and the Wholehog line of consoles and wings.
