Harlequin Floors Announces First US installations of Harlequin Liberty Switch Harlequin Floors announces the first US installations of the Harlequin Liberty Switch, a patented, award-winning stage floor system that is said to transform between a solid stage floor and a sprung dance floor in seconds. Designed to meet the needs of both dance and production environments, it transitions at the touch of a button. In Denver, the system is being installed at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, part of the Denver Center for Performing Arts. The venue, known simply as "the Ellie," is one of Denver's premier performance venues. It welcomes top artists and touring shows to the city and is also where the Colorado Ballet and Opera Colorado perform their seasons. Kirkland Performance Center in Kirkland, Washington, a 400-seat community-driven venue, will also have Harlequin Liberty Switch installed this summer. Known for its broad programming that includes theatre, music, and dance, KPC will benefit from the system's modular design and operational efficiencies, supporting its mission to provide accessible, high-quality performances. "The installation of Harlequin Liberty Switch at both The Ellie and Kirkland Performance Center marks a pivotal moment for American Harlequin and for performing arts venues across the US," says Steve Gough, general manager of American Harlequin. "This technology empowers organizations to expand their creative programming while reducing operational strain -- ultimately enhancing the experience for performers, crews, and audiences alike. We're proud to support these institutions as they set a new standard for stage versatility and innovation."
