Robert Juliat, Wybron Gear Now Available From Gearhouse Splitbeam

Johannesburg-based theatre equipment supplier, Gearhouse Splitbeam, has now added several Robert Juliat 2,500W Aramis followspots to its rental stock, becoming the first theatre rental company in South Africa to make these available to local and touring productions.

The Splitbeam team already has the Aramis hard at work on a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. "They have remarkably high light output for such a compact unit," explains operations manager Nasim Bismilla, "They are easy to use, so operators love working with them. Their narrow beam angle that makes them perfect for long-distance work and they have enough 'oomph' to deliver a dramatic effect despite a high ambient light level."

The company also recently took delivery of a number of Wybron Coloram IT 7.5" color-changers. The units are designed to fit the following light fixtures: ETC Source Four PAR, PAR 56 and 64s, Fresnels, and HMI's up to 1.2kW. Splitbeam also has 4" adaptor plates to make the unit fit all standard Source Four4 profiles and Strand SLs.
