Road Hog Full Boar at Carmen Nebel Show, Germany

Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel is a popular German TV music show covering folk and pop music. The entertainer Carmen Nebel recently celebrated the 50th show in an episode watched by more than four million people.

ARCUS Lighting, exclusive German distributor for High End Systems, supported lighting designer Manfred Voss with four Road Hog Full Boar consoles, four Road Hog playback wings, four DP8000 DMX processors and two DMX/Art-Net switches.

The total production is performed on two different staging areas. Each stage was controlled by its own system comprising of a Road Hog Full Boar with a Road Hog playback wing and a DP8000 DMX processor. Both systems had an identical console configuration as a network tracking backup. Together, the two stages controlled over 100 moving lights, LED fixtures, and a media server.

Voss, an avid Wholehog user for many years, was pleased with the power of the consoles. "Everything worked exceptionally well and I'm very comfortable with these consoles," he says. "I will continue to use the same Wholehog systems on the next Carmen Nebel shows going forward." The next season of Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel begins in February 2012.
